Any current deals on UPS Battery Backups?

I'm looking to buy 2 UPS battery back-ups, one for my computer and one for my home entertainment a/v equipment.

Are there good deals on any currently? I'm looking to spend under $50 on each, and would prefer them to have about a half-hour of backup time.

Thanks!

This basically goes in the general hardware - this is for existing deals not inquiries.

THAT SAID...are there any deals out there, before this gets locked? :p

I just picked up a Belkin 350VA "home office UPS" on clearance at OfficeMax for $20 (- $10 10-off-20 coupon).
Not quite up to your specs for 30 minutes, but $20 isn't bad -- or $10 if you have a coupon. (I've been flooded with the 10 off 20 coupons, so if you have too, then $10 out-the-door seems hot)

I got a nice UPS on a BF deal and CompUSA. 1500VA APC for $100 ($150 - $50 MIR, retail is $200). That's probably overkill for your needs though.

LOL, yeah, 30 minutes for $50.

Many modern 500VA UPS can't even keep a good single system up at all, can't deliver enough current and shut off immediately, not after a few minutes. This has been true for Energizer, Belkin, and APC (consumer-series, I forget the model #).

I don't think any cheap UPS will keep your HT system up for any decent amount of time, maybe enough time for you to manually turn components off. :)

EDIT: ALSO, this isn't a request forum. This is for people who want to share hot deals. There is ONE (and only one) request thread, if you want to post in there.

Buy this at CompUSA and then come back and try to price-match this to Staples since CompUsa has it with 2 MIRs (30 + 15 ?).

I wasn't concerned with keeping a HT running during a power loss. Just the tivo so it would keep recording if I lost power during one of my shows.

And this thread was dead within 4.5 hours of me creating it, its other people that brought it back 2 weeks later!

:)

Thanks for all the suggestions and help :)
