Any credit cards 0% interest longer than 12 months?

Anyone know of any credit cards I can get for longer than 12 months with 0%?

I just got an offer in the mail, 0% interest until April 2009, but I need to do a balance transfer to get the rate. I've never carried a balance on my credit card, so I don't have anything to transfer. I just have a major purchase coming up of about $5000 and I'd like to put it on a 0% interest major credit card (visa, mastercard etc) so I have some choice about where I can order from.

Can anyone recommend me anything?

Updated for clarity: To get the 0% interest, I need to transfer a balance to the card. I've personally never carried a balance and therefore have nothing to transfer to the card.

I want a card with 0% longer than 12 months without having to transfer anything to it.

Many cards will let you place the balance transfer straight into your checking account.

who is it with? Often you can get a check in your name. Also pay attention to the bt fee. Could be up to 3% of the charge w no cap.

IIRC Amex Blue is 15 months

My Amex Blue Cash was only 6 months

Big list of 0% BT cards. Some allow 15 months.

Also, a few do allow direct transfers into your bank account and treat them as Balance Transfers. I know that Citibank did this and I transfered in excess of $20,000 into my account for 15 months and earned 6% interest on it!

Yea, 15 months interest free looks like the best I can find at the moment. And yes, I want it on purchases, not balance transfers.

How do you get points with Amex Blue? Is $1 = 1 point?

Make your major purchase on a card you already have, then transfer that balance to the new card at 0%. Problem solved.

Many will go through in as little as 72 hours once the account is opened.

There a few offers going around that give you 19 months of 0% APR for purchases which really surprised me. Longest I have seen and didn't think anyone would try to overtake AMEX on a great offer.

0% for 19 months is awesome.

The best I have ever seen was 0% for 18 months and that was a direct mail offer (junk mail).
