any creative/funny gift wrapping tips for men?

i've been asked to write a column, i chose this as a topic....
any ideas would be greatly appreciated
(i don't want to sound like an idiot in the paper)

Men like big heavy thingys. Bowling balls work great. (I never wrap gifts anyway, Cash works best)

I have the best idea this year. I am going to get my girlfriend the book "Venus in Furs" because she wants her own copy after reading mine, and I am going to wrap it in a pelt of Ermine furs, because that is the kind of furs one of the characters wears in the book.
