I saw one on our local NBC affliate, 3000 people crammping into a NC mall.

I wonder where NFS4 was when that happened? ;)

Not really crazy, but I was on the local ABC7 Los Angeles news this morning. They were at the Best Buy in Pasadena and when I went home, I watched the segment and saw myself in the crowd :p

I got accidentally elbows in the mouth this morning by some crazy bitch going for the 22" monitor at Best Buy. No video to speak of, but I had a bloody lip :(

It's amazing what people will do to save a few bucks. But I can understand the allure, it would be neat to be part of the scenery and excitement of it.

At the Best Buy I was at, some crazy woman was trying to start a riot (and almost did) because a ton of people were cutting in front of the line. The police chose to stay out of it and the Best Buy people just told them to deal with it themselves. I think most of the "cutters" had people saving their spots while they slept in their cars, but I don't think that should be allowed unless you're going for a bathroom break or moving your stuff back to your car.

Hahaha! This whole BF craze is hilarious. It's funny what the poor people do.

not everyone is poor, at the BB I was at (Santee) this chick and her sister and a few other family members were tryin to get about 25 TV's total, they each got a Toshiba 52" DLP for $1600 reg $2999, now 3k is probably way over priced but she said she'd sell all 7 on ebay and make a grand on each, plus she and the rest of her clan had about 15 other various televisions. Told me for their 13 hours waiting they'd pocket about 15 thousand dollars profit selling everything they got on Ebay. Organized and done right BF can be incredible money.

One guy somehow got 10 of the $199 22" Westinghouse LCD monitors (saw them with my own eyes) I'm sure they could go for $400 easy on Ebay.

Too bad I was broke this year, but next I plan to save up so I can invest in the best deals and resell and pocket loads of cashola!
