Any Counter Strike Players Out There?

Kinda new at CS and I see people using custom sprays, just want to know how to make one and what the file extention is...

I pretty sure their just BMP files, they are listed under logos in the counter-strike file.

Its sorta complicated but Wally makes it simple

The file name has to be pldecal.wad, and it has to be placed in your c:/sierra/counterstrike/cstrike folder for it to work. And the size has to be divisible by 16, even in Wally. So make sure your picture is sized something like 80 x 112 or something to that effect, so the program can make it.

I was a CS player then 1.4 came out and ruined the game completely forever

DoD is the only Half-Life Mod worth playing anymore

I'd reccomend using wally too. With wally its just a few clicks and your ready to go. However, when you do get your logo saved in wally, make sure not to go to the preference menu in HalfLife/CS where you can choose a default logo. Doing so resets the logo to one of the standards.

I really don't understand why so many people complain about that version... the only real change was the jumping.. I've barely noticed a difference in my play... but then again I didn't jump around a lot

1.5 Fixed pretty much most of that crap. I hated 1.4 too. Still not as good as the betas.

If you want to distract other players, what you need to do is find a spray of a CT (if you're a CT) or a T if you're T and spray that in a place where a member of the other team might look to check for your team. It's great fun watching people shoot and shoot at a wall spray before they either figure out that it's not shooting back and is not real or you stop laughing long enough to waste them.

Because it made jumping a death sentence. I was not one to bunny hop nor did I like other people bunny hopping. But I found in 1.4 that jumping at all was a stupid idea. Jumping over a wall instead of walking around it, jumping over a crate, etc... All of those slow you down. Got to the point where I would rather run/walk around than jump over something.

That is what I hate about it.
