Any Core i5/i7 15-inch WUXGA (1920x1200) laptops being made anymore?

I currently have a Dell XPS M1530 with a 15-inch WUXGA (1920x1200) screen on it and love it dearly. I've search for hours trying to find a manufacturer that currently builds a newer laptop with the same specs, but haven't seen anything.

Does anyone know if anyone (popular brand name or lesser-known brand) makes a 15-inch WUXGA Core i5/i7 laptop? I know 17-inch ones exist here and there, but they are too bulky.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah unfortunately display makers seem to be gravitating towards unifying display resolutions to comply to HDTV standards . . . 1920x1080 instead of 1920x1200, 13XX instead of 1400 x 900 . . ..

A damn shame, if you ask me.

Don't recall if they are 1080 or 1200 lines vertical, but...

The new Dell 15" XPS models would meet those specs. Before the sandy bridge recall, MSI's gaming laptop GT680 had that as well. Asus's 15" gaming laptops can have that resolution.

only 1920x1080 (16:9) OP wants 1920x1200 (16:10) it is really hard to find a good 16:10 monitor in general these days. Laptop or desktop.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, the two reasons I want the 1980x1200 instead of 1920x1080 is:

1) My desktop monitor is a 24" 1920x1200 Asus MK241H, therefore when I Remote Desktop between the two, I have 1:1 resolution.

2) I love the little bit extra screen space.

If I get a 1920x1080 laptop, I can Remote Desktop into it from my desktop without problems, but vice-versa (using Remote Desktop on laptop to connect to Desktop) I'll have to down-size the resolution (it won't be native).

So there are zero manufacturers of laptops these days that are making 15" 1920x1200 screens?

Seriously. Manufacturers suck. Considering 1920x1200 is clearly > 1900X1080 you'd think they'd keep the higher res and adv greater than 1080p!!!

There are quite a few 1st gen i7 with wuxga but they are all professional line and cost way too much ($2k+).
2nd gen i7 with 1080p (sager) can be had for <$1k. At those prices, I'd say just get it and add an external monitor. With that price difference, you could add a 30".
If you have to have wuxga, maybe a 2nd hand one off ebay?

The only "reasonably" priced 17" RGB LED 1900x1200 laptops I can find are the Alienware M17x R2 recertified models from the Dell site. A well equipped recertified M17x R2 actually costs more than a recertified R3 with more memory, Sandy Bridge, etc.
