Any Cool Software on Creating Logos From Text?

I'm use to using Photoshop's - Gradiant/Bevel/Shadow/etc. to make nice signs from text, but this doesn't cut it for making a nice logo. Can anyone recommend me a software or a plug-in?

Graphic Design major at the university of your choice. There's no software out there that can come up with good looking graphics for you.

Try some photoshop plugins. Tools don't make good graphics, it's the person using them who does. Tools just make it easier.

It's true that much of it is down to the user, but a good tool does help. Take a look at Ulead Cool3D or Cool3D Production Suite or alternatively Xara 3D or Xara X - these are all very friendly packages with a lot of power but don't cost very much.
