I'm going to see the new bad Evanescence tonight. I was wondering if anyone has seen them in concert before, and if they're a good show? Thanks

Yeah, but I'd like to know before I get there......I'm pretty excited about it.....but you know there are some artists out there that can record an awesome album, but you get to their show and they play like they just formed the band 4 days ago.....

Well if it's at the E-Factory, it's going to suck just because it's the E-Factory which is arguable the Worst Concert Venue in the Tri-State Area. We're talkin' the Liberty Nachos of concert venues.
I hope you are over 6 feet tall and find good parking (hint: go PAST the E-Factory to the next cross-street and park on that block)
And good earplugs might not be a bad idea, too.
I've seriously not gone to shows I wanted to see simply b/c they were at the E-Factory.

I can't complain really......
- great bands
- cheap tix
- loud @ss music
- and if your 21 who cares about being tall you can drink at the bar on the 2nd floor overlooking the show
Compare to places like North Star Bar, Trocadero, TLA, Painted Bride, Tin Angel, Tower and Keswick, though, you realize just how sh!tty the E-Factory is. Go to those places and the tix will likely be cheaper than the E-Factory, you won't get scammed by the parking lot attendant, you will probably be able to see, and you might even have a chair to sit in. Getting up into the balcony at the E-Factory is a nightmare in and of itself! Try that at the TLA and it's practically empty.
Of course you can't control the lineup, which is unfortunate. Dream Theater usually plays the E-Factory, so if you want to see them, for instance, you have to suck it up.
We live in the city.....so parking is no issue. The e-factory is a great spot to see a show.....the stage is raised high enough no matter how tall you are you should have no problem with view......not to mention the second floor bar is clutch.....can't find that at other venues......pluse E-factory has descent accoustics.....good speakers.......And I'm not in the mood to go see Kelly Ossbourne at the Troc for like $10 a ticket......that girl can suck my nut
