Any concerns with purchasing a Canon refurb SLR

Has anyone purchased a refurb directly form Canon. Would you have any reservations with a refurb over new because of the warranty?

I'm trying to decide between a new T1i or refurb T2i. New with a 1 year warranty or refurb with 90 days.

Amazon has a deal if you buy the camera & extra lense.
T1i w/18-55IS, Canon 55-250IS = $704. (649+205-150=704)

Canon has several refurbs on sale at $100 off which make them cheaper than buying just the refurbished body.
T1i w/18-55IS = $499
T2i w/18-55IS = $619

With the $150 off, the new T1i would be the same as the refurb after adding $200 for the extra lense.

The T2i refurb is also tempting and I would have to pick up an extra lense later.

So the second question I guess would be...
Is a T2i refurb worth getting over a new T1i?

Last SLR I owned was a Canon AE-1 and I just got rid of that last year. Had been sitting in the closet neglected for many years.

Buy a broken Canon point & shoot off eBay, then use it for the loyalty program for 20% off a refurb. I believe that the T1i is part of the program, and the T2i may be as well.

Look at refurbs/used deals on KEH.com if you're not buying new. KEH has great customer service and warranties.

My last DSLR was a refurb 40D. Would own another. No problems or worries at all.
