Any company builds lappys exactly to your specifications?

Any company builds lappys exactly to your specifications? I still have not got the lappy because there is always one to two things missing on the system I want or it cost 4Gs. Is someone familiar with good true custom lappy companies?

U either live with some of the imperfection of don't get a laptop. PERIOD. If you want the best of the best, get the T40p.

LOL figures. Maybe I should just build my own system............................................NOT. My decision is down the Tecra S1 and the D800. Honestly, my final choice will be the D800 but I have some time to wait to see if any changes in the arena may alter my decision. Whatever laptop I do by, it will be very permanent at least for a 2 to 3 year period; IMHO, the longer the better. I refuse to buy the newest technology every month so the times that are set to pick up a new item I try to get the best of the best to avoid the need to repurchase.

In my previous computing experience, I've had bad incidents with HP, IBM and Dell. IBM being the far worse and HP neck and neck. Mind you the aforementioned were all desktops. Dell put together a good system with the D800 and the extra features are pulling me away from the Toshiba Centrino models.
