Somebody wrote me recently for help on their "lab top"

I was also recently informed via email to not worry about getting into the party b/c I was indeed on the "guess list"

You don't want to work in that field, workers there are "a diamond a dozen"

Then vs. than is my favorite. If we go by internet messageboards, it seems about 8% of the population knows the difference.

And by the way, I don't think those aren't grammar mistakes.

Does "Recommend me a..." count? Just doesn't sound right. I always though it was, "Can you recommend..." or "Can anyone recommend...".

That's what I thought. It just really annoys me when I see someone say, "Recommend me a...".

I just saw another one that gets to me. It's when people say "duel" when they mean "dual".

Ya, I guess mine aren't really grammar mistakes. I kind of screwed that up. They are just people who don't know how to properly type a cliche.
