It's 4:00 A.M. and I ran out of propane right in the middle of cooking creole chicken stuffed with shrimp and rice.
Can't go refill the tank yet, because I don't think the people that handle that sort of thing would be on duty at the gas station this early. I'm trying to finish it in the toaster oven, we'll see how that turns out. 
I went and looked up gas/electric oven combinations, but all I am finding is electric ovens with a gas range, or vice versa. Do they not make one that has both gas and electric options for the oven, where if you run out of propane or if the power goes out, you can switch to the other?
If nothing else, I might purchase a small convection oven after this fiasco. Just to have another option on hand.
