Any coin collectors here? Question Inside

I'm looking for a nice looking coin of some sort, maybe $20-$30, that I can frame and just kind of hold onto. I'm interesting in something that looks nice more than anything else, but an older coin would be nicer.

I don't think I've narrowed it down at all, but I basically want something a little rare, that looks nice. I like gold and so maybe something partially gold? I'd be willing to pay more for something made of gold.

Any thoughts? My goal would be to frame it and have it on a wall, that's all.

It doesn't have to be a US coin, I'm open to any country, so maybe if a certain country has a very unique design, I'd be interested in that.

One of my favorite coins to look at is the Benjamin Half Proof. Gold would costs much more than you indicate you want to spend.

That's pretty neat, what does proof mean? I did a search and most of those seem to have shinier looking coins in the auctions
