any chanse a mac voodoo5 would work in a pc?

Is the only difference the drivers? I think it is a PCI version for mac.....

They use a different BIOS also, just flash it to the BIOS for the PC version and it should be fine

I am another flash success. Only thing I'm curious about is if the V5 DVI out put works. Apparently only the Mac version came with it.....

Hey ok I checked it out again. A local EB has a PCI Mac V5 5500 for $39.00 on clearance. I would be putting it in to a celeron 300-450 machine. Do the PCI Versions perform as well as the AGP? I thought voodoo cards were not real AGP cards they were like virtual PCI or something. Been a long time since I have delt with a Voodoo

Nintari, the Voodoo3, 4 and 5 are not "real" AGP cards because they don't support AGP texturing. You will only see a 2-5 fps difference between a AGP and PCI Voodoo5. $39 for a Voodoo5, I paid damn near $300 for mine last year.
