Any channels on EFNet for hardware discussion/deals?

Hi, I was wondering if there were any channels on efnet used to discuss hardware / hardware hot deals on efnet.. if there is not one is there anyone interested in starting one with me?

Although these aren't IRC EFNet channels you may want to check out DVDTalk.com Chat and FatWallet.com Chat (click in the black title bar).

Also Fatwallet.com has a Deal Discussion forum.

It might be easier to start an ICQ group rather than an EFNet channel since everyone has ICQ?

Does anyone want to do this? I think it'd be great to have an anandtech real time chat thing, this has been the most helpful forum I have ever been to and real time chat would be really nice to have for some types of discussions. Any one have any suggestions? I'd really like to do this.

I suppose you could consider the teamanandtech.com IRC server what you're asking about here. Just connect to irc.teamanandtech.com on port 6667 and join #teamanandtech. There's a good dozen people at minimum in there at all times.

For the Off Topic forum, channel #neochat on the Undernet network has been established for quite some time. Warms up after 10 PM EST.
