I'd like a Australian flag if that's possible?

Cos' atm there's only the option of an american one 🙁

EDIT: and i'm sure the Canadians/Brits on the forum would like the option to have their own flag (Rather commonwealth group there😉).

Would be nice, since if I remember correctly the flag and ribbon icons were only supposed to be temporary after sept11.

At least have the Canadian flag as well if you are going to have flags at all

yeah that does make sence to me, it also helps people identify what country they are from if they wish to use that avatar.

Just make sure that it flushes in the correct direction. 🙂

I'll all for more flag icons. However, I can't remember when the mods last added icons (except after 9/11).

Yeah. I say that when the UK or Oz has a national tragedy (elderly royalty dying in their sleep DOES NOT count) we give them flag avatars 😛
 
There would be a lot of flags if they tried to include everyone's.

AT is a US-centric site - deal with it. You want a Kerbluckistan flag avatar? Go start your own forum.

That would be the dragon avatar, and that's because somebody made it and "donated" the artwork to the forums. Was it Evadman? I can't remember.

As long as we're adding flags, I would like to have all 50 state flags, as well as the UN flag. Also, my company happens to have a flag so you should add that to the list as well. Oh, and I used to be a Boy Scout, so can you add their flag too?

Can you people even see the slope you're slipping down? 😉

It would be never ending flag requests.

well i'm glad everyone's so keen on the idea 😛

However i have to disagree, if they can find time for dozens of different office guys it doesn't seem that much of an effort to add some more flag avatars, start by adding a indian, british, canadian, australian flag and that pretty much covers most people i've seen posting on AT...

seems like it would be very easy to implement, and i really can't see any problems with it, obviously sense will have to be used in deciding how many more to add, but as i've suggested above it would be very easy to cater to the majority of nationalities who use AT...
 
i think there should be an avatar submission thing so they dont even have to make them, just make sure theyre ok and sort of with the current avatar "style"
