As we all know Gigabyte has their Atom for desktop mobo.

Does anyone know if we'll see a similar product with AMD Neo? Imo it would be a great product for a HTPC. Perhaps with Nvidias 8200 Chipset or AMD 780G, or a next gen chipset that supports bitstreaming.

In combination with a codec similar to CoreAVC with CUDA or STREAM support it would own the enitre HTPC segment.

it isn't some special processor.

its an AMD lima core clocked at 1.6 ghz.

just go out and buy an athlon le1660 or a le1640 that is lima core (some arent) and underclock it to 1.6ghz,.. Use an amd 740g motherboard that has voltage and multiplier tweaks(which is a 55nm 690g foxconn a74mx-k can do all that) and you should have comparable power use.
