Ack whoops, hit enter too soon, lol.

Anyways I have this k7s5a board that doesnt work cause i accidently broke off one of the pins of the bios chip. Ive heard of people booting a comp with a working chip, replacing the chip with one that had a bad flash and re-flashing that one.

My questions is whether or not I could use a bios chip from an old board with the same form factor of bios chip as the k7s5a, flash that chip with the k7s5a bios, and stick that into the k7s5a.

Yes, but you'll have to find a flasher that allows you to use the "wrong" BIOS file.
