Any chance of saving scratched LCD?

My daughter wanted to write on my screen then erase it. The pencil had no eraser, just a metal ring. Scratched it pretty good in a few places.. Any suggestions?

But seriously, you might try some nail polish, applied very finely with just one or two strands of the brush
