Any chance of rmaing my palm iiixe?

Ive had a palm iiixe for about 8 months, and just today i opened it up to notice the screen was cracked, but it seems like the center of the crack is near the bottom near the buttons, is there any chance that they will replace it for me? I havent had a chance to call them yet, im hoping they will, otherwise im screwed, and i guess ill be getting a m505 of ipaq sometime soon if they refuse. When i get home ill post a pic, since im at school and cant find the camera.
 
The Palm IIIxe warranty doesn't cover cracked screens, unfortunately. They offer some sort of 1-time screen replacement plan within a specified time after you buy it (I forgot the specifics). That plan is kind of pricey, though.
 
Yup, the screen is on your dime. There are some places that advertise replacement screens, but they are often not cost effective.
 
ya, i called them and they said they dont cover the screen, not a big deal, ill just go to staples and get them to do it, if not i think ill be ordering a m505...or an ipaq, hard decision
