Any chance of putting the DAY back into the header?

Didn't there used to be the day in this field as well as the date? Any chance of putting that back in there?

I really don't think the day needs to be in there. There was a thread a few days ago petitioning to have it removed. The only way I can think of getting it put back in (and I don't think it should be) would be to put forth a good case on why it should be in and generate enough member interest to have it put back in.

Personally, i think it should be brought back but with a compromise (like someone stated in an earlier thread). Maybe putting Mon, Tue, Wed, etc... Instead of it completely written out. As sad as it may be, its nice to see the date written out, along with the number...

If there is a difference between the field's format in the header and in the posts themselves, I would definitely see some value to changing the date format in the header (Sun Mon/Day(/yr?) hh:mm).

Any date change is across the board, so it changes absolutely everywhere. We do not set different date formats for different parts of the forum.
