any chance I can change my AMEX blue for students into regular blue?

not sure when I'm going to graduate, but I would like to switch my AMEX blue for students into regular blue.
any ideas what to tell a AMEX rep/has anybody tried before?
 
i got my amex blue for students back in june and i just applied for and recieved an amex blue cash card with the 2% cash back

You cannot convert it. You have to apply for a new card.
 
i never bothered to change... i kept my student card and applied for the blue cash and it was approved. a good second card after the dividend. now my blue student is the third card that i'd use.
