Any cell phone gurus here?

Anyone know what voltage is sent out when you are receiving or making a cell phone call? I want to know so that I can some how get these flashing keypads and batteries to work without them having to be in the phone itself. And I want them to flash constantly. Can anyone help me?

edit:

I got the keypad to work with a 9 volt battery but it dies out after a while. I need the battery to constantly go and go and go. The phone some how sends a voltage or signal to the keypad and it lights up when you're on the phone. How would I accomplish faking that signal via some electronic part?

Without it having to be in the phone? I'm trying to setup a display for my working place to have the keypads and batteries flashing without it having to be in the phone.

Anyone have any clue on how I might go about doing this?
