Do you frequently eat gluten-free replacements for things such as bread, noodles, etc?

I went to the grocery store with them last night and everything gluten-free was very expensive. $5 for a loaf of bread about 1/3rd the size of a normal loaf, that's too expensive for me. On top of that, hardly any of that stuff tastes as good as the real thing.

If I became celiac, I'd probably just focus on changing my diet instead of finding gluten-free replacements, and it would force me to stay away from all this overly processed garbage.

Just go on an all-bacon diet.

Edit:
...am I the only one coming in here thinking it was about Toyota cars?

my sister-in-law's boyfriend is a celiac. He can't eat a lot of the good tasting stuff, but he ends up eating a lot healthier than most because of his disease. Plus, more and more restaurants are offering gluten free items on their menu

There are three or four guys at my Crossfit gym that have Celiacs.

Kozy Kitchen in Dallas, TX serves Gluten-Free.

I have celiacs, they are actually starting to come out with really good tasting gluten free substitutes.... check out a brand called Udi they have very good bread, pizza crusts, muffins, etc.... tastes almost better than regular stuff... If want some food recomendations let me know. I've gone through tooooooons of gluten free foods, not all being too tasty...
