Well, as fate would have it, we were planning on taking a road trip tomorrow & WHAMMO!!!.......my wife got rear-ended last night.
Sooooooooo...........looks like we won't be taking the Camry.
I wanna be sure she gets repaired properly. I'm sure we'll get a new bumper but I'm curious as to what else to look for. The gal who hit us has AAA insurance & apparently they give their OWN estimates and then you can have the work done wherever. (I have a bodyshop by my work that has done good work for us in the past).
Anyway...........as best I can tell, it looks like the "metal" part of the back (trunk lid, right rear quarter, left rear quarter) appear to be fine.
But I *did* notice tonight that the tail pipe has been "mushroomed" a bit. I took a couple closeups so you can see if you'd care to take a look..........
