Any Car audio guru's out there?

Hey guys i have a 2000 jetta and wants to replace the stock speakers with aftermarket ones. I am not good with this audio thing, so are there any exact fir plug-and play speakers that i can upgrade to?

The vortex isn't much help either!

So what makes a good pair of speakers and what make a bad pari of speaker?

I tried to read the definition on crutchfield and aren't doing very well...

any pointers?

Go listen to some at a local audio shop and see what you think sounds best. Some of my personal favorite speakers could be different than what you like. Personally, I don't like much that crutchfield carries. To me it's all overpriced crap, but to most it's probably adequate. If you want real, high quality sound, visit a local retailer who sells Focal separates. Some of the best sounding car audio speakers out there.
