bump!

EDIT: About buying from REI - there is an REI store here in St. Louis, so I would be paying taxes on anything I buy. It's still a drop in the bucket compared to the $200+ I'm spending on the tent, but it's more than I would pay for shipping from Campmor.

After doing a little more research, I've settled on the Mountain Hardwear Lightwedge 3. Every review I've seen says that it is a great tent. And it's only another $25 to go from the 2-man tent to a 3-man. I do more car camping than hiking, so the extra weight won't be that big of a deal, and if I do go hiking, I should be able to get *somebody* to go with me, so we can split the weight 🙂

My dad does that all the time, even when we *do* have tents with us. He calls it a Hoosier Dome 😛

(that's hoosier as in bum; not somebody from indiana)

RV, tents suck.

LOL

Eureka tents are nice

Sez the caveman 😉

I agree, though it looks like the Timberline tents (the little A-frames) don't have much head room. And some of the others don't have full flies. Might work or it might not, but that seems dumb to me.
