My brother is SFPD. Makes over $100,000 a year with OT. If you work holidays you can make like triple time on those days.

My friend is the one who wants Oakland, but thats because he lives out there. Thats probably the last place I would want to be a cop.

I have a friend who is a cop in Palo Alto. He makes pretty good money. I went on a ride along with him once and pretty much decided being a cop wasn't for me. Being a cop in Oakland (I work in Oakland) sounds like a risky proposition, good luck with that.
