kb = kiloBITS
kB = kiloBYTES

if you're talking in standard format.

I just used that autofix thing yesterday at pcpitstop.com. I can't remember exactly but my down went from like 700kb to around 1.6 mb. The up also changed a little but can't remember the numbers. I couldn't believe the improvement when opening up internet pages too.
