Any Burner Freeware Recommendations?

Windows 7 media player seems needlessly convoluted for burning CDs & DVDs.

Is there any good freeware software out there that anyone recommends? I don't need lots of bells and whistles per se... Just something "easy" that is good at doing the simple task of creating/manipulating data to burn?

I use imgburn in combination with daemontools lite (sometimes wincdemu if I'm lazy) to play video games without disks. Also creating images from disc function on this program is amazing. 😀

Imgburn is SPAMWARE!! Even if you deselect AOL Toolbar installation, it installs it regardless (yes, easily removed but still)......AND, it installs some shopping sidekick software.........NO BUENO!! DIAF!!!

Do NOT install imgburn!!!!

CDburnerXP = thumbsup!!! (Or Nero Express for quick & dirty)

I like infrarecorder. It works well, and is libre software. I used to use that for data/music, and imgburn exclusively for images.

No it doesn't. At least, it didn't last week. Did you get it from some other source?

I've never had it do that either. My guess is it was downloaded from an unofficial mirror that modified the installer.
