Brought back 4 seed from St Lucia I found in Tamarind candy and they all sprouted. 100% germination rate! Amazing!!

Well, I now have them in separate 4" pots and would like to know where to go from here. Like to plant outside.

Not much found on GOOGLE. Anybody know or have a good source of info?

Thanks

If you put them outside, I hope that you live someplace thats warm 12 months of the year. There is a Puerto Rican restaurant that I go to that has Tamarind juice and its delicious. Good luck w/the plants, I wish I could offer more help/advice.

tamrind trees grow big .. so transfer it to a place where you wont have it seeds falling on your car or driveway (when ripe and they fall on the ground) they tend to be sticky.. so put it on a remote corner..

I love tamarind..... I remember in india during the summer that I used to go pick up tamrind and make stuff to eat.. mmmmm

just dont eat too much you might end up with a upset stomach.
