Any Borat fans here?

Borat

He had me cracking up when he did the wine tasting and asked if the guy's assistant was his slave. Also loved when he went door to door with the politican and said "man who goes to power must have... how do you say? Hràm?" LMAO.

Never watched Ali G until this weekend. Ali G and Bruno are ok but Borat steals the show.

HAHAHAHA that guy is freaking awesome!

From his show:

Him(As Da ali G): To a General: Have you met any famous soldiers/generals?
General: Yes I have met a few
Him: Have you met General Motor?
General: .... It's a car manufacturer
Him: But he was a general before he started the company?
:D

I like Borat and Ali G, but I don't believe that the Bruno character is funny.

Cohen as Borat was hilarious with Conan awhile back.

But my fave Ali-G skit was the Cannes Porno Festival outtake where he starts out with:

Love is the most beautiful and natural thing that happens in the world. So what is wrong with seeing on a video what happens between a man ... a woman ... and a horse? That is why I come here to the Cannes Porn Festival to speak about the pros and cons of pornography and also to talk to some ladies that has had more knobs in them than anyone else in the world. Respect!

- all in some weird quasi-West Indian accent.

Just freakin' hilarious.

Remember the episode where he went to a RE agent to buy a house?

He asked him if there was a room with no windows and a metal door because his "brother is retard" and then he asked why the bedroom bed was so big because in Kazakstan his "wife slept in cage".

Hilarious!

I loved the one where he learned to sing country music, then went to the bar and sang about putting problems down a well, including jews.

Lately borat skits have been funnier than ali g ones for me, at least on the HBO show.

Also, those pictures of his sister were extremely graphic... as in genitals showing and everything.

Or of his"wife." I also like the fashion character's skits, forget his name. When he goes to the fashion show and talks about "normal people" it's hilarious.

I think Borat has the most growth potential of any of the characters, largely because he's so non-threatening, and people have a hard time being angry with him. He's just brilliant.

I think my favorite Borat bit that aired was still the wine-tasting. I'm amazed he could stay in character after something like ten glasses of wine.

SBC told a hilarious story last week on Stern about a Borat bit that never aired.

The segment was called "Borat's Guide to the New Age." He was in Arizona with some hippy guy who had a bed built underneath a prism (he claimed it was designed by angels). He was massaging Borat, who kept twitching around in typical Borat fashion. The hippy kept telling him to relax. Eventually he left the room, warning Borat that he'd better be relaxed when the hippy came back.

When the hippy returned, Borat was frantically masturbating (or at least pretending to). The hippy freaked out, and within a few minutes, there were 5 police cars there.

SBC decided to stay in character, so when the police asked him what had happened, he said "He says I was touching my hràm, but I did not touch my hràm!" They asked him, "what's a hràm," and not surprisingly he offered to show them. They warned him that, even if he was just pretending to touch his hràm, he could go to jail for 2 years. Unfortunately, they took the tape.

Check your local listings for the Stern interview on E! They haven't set a date to show it, but it was hilarious, and I imagine it'll air eventually.

Borat is Cohen's best character, though he's funny as hell as Ali G and Bruno, too. But Borat is freaking hilarious.

"How do I stop my wife... uh... do rape on me?"

And to the OP, the slave part had me cracking up. The old dude was like "it's good for them, yes".

The first time I watched the Ali G Show (it must be about three years ago...one of his old BBC shows) I was cracking up so damn hard. Hugely funny, and what's cool is that years later he still makes me laugh.

Do the ones on the BBC have a laugh track?
