Any bios hackers around?

I have an Albatron PX845pev-pro, and I have a new Celeron D.

Unfortunatly, after getting my proxessor, I found out that my motherboard don't support the Celeron D, though other versions of this motherboard by albatron does. I have seen people hack their bios before to make them support newer processors, and I am wondering if there is someone here that could do the same. Thanks in advance for the reply.

The new celerons have a similar architecture to the prescotts. It's not possible to run them on your old board. I would check newegg's refurbished section and see what they currently have. If you have 2 identical sticks of pc2100 or higher, I would get a dual channel board with 4 memory slots.

You'll need to extract the Intel microcode-update block from a similar BIOS that has the update for your CPU, and then replace that module in your current BIOS with that one. You might consider posting your request on the WimsBIOS forums, there are people there that specialize in helping with things like that.
