Any billiards games you can play by yourself?

I'm going to moving into a house that has a billiards table and I'm wondering if their are any billiard games that one can play by themselves?

lol, no. I plan on having friends over all of the time.

I just want to get good at it first. There has got to be some actual games out there rather than 'rack, break, ...quit when all the balls are in.'

I used to just play 8 or 9 ball by myself, playing both sides.

Why not just play it with yourself? As long as you're practicing you're bound to get better.

Pick a two player game and play it by yourself. You'll get better quick if you play both sides equally hard.
