Beyond any traditional 'be a good parent\child\friend' or 'be successful at X' type of things
My big two are:
Visit all 7 continents
Go into space

My main goal is to truly visit each and every country. Not "I was in the airport for a layover for an hour", but truly experiencing each country.

As a general rule, I consider a true experience to be sleeping in a hotel away from the airport/train station and eating a meal. It is a low bar, but it excludes several countries that I have technically been in but never left the comfort of a transportation zone (all English signs, all passengers were security screened, almost all stores take credit cards, restrooms everywhere, etc).

I'll probably never meet that goal due to some war zones and a fairly steady change in the borders/number of countries. But I think I can come close. I'm up to 24.

1.Do the tail of the dragon ride at Deals Gap, NC
2. Experience weightlessness whether in space or in a weightless chamber

edit: and 2 girls at the same time is a bit overrated. It probably wont turn out the way you expect.

Visit all the states and National Parks with my wife. Toss in the Provinces and we'd be good. She's not all that into much of the third world, so visiting a bunch of countries is not in the works.

had to google this one. Are there a lot of fatalities on that road? How's emergency response?

Read an article not too long ago about how big trucks were finally being banned from the road due to too many blind turns, sharp turns and their huge turn radiouses. Should make it a lot safer and more enjoyable.
I've taken my subaru around the smokey mountains and up/down a hundred miles or so of blue ridge parkway and it was absolutely magnificent. It would have been even more jawdropping on a bike, but, in a car it was quite good.

Planning to go down there again hopefully early spring, this time in the womans Ford Edge which has bigass sunroof ....

Mines would get me a ticket to a psych ward.

Speaking of, that's not a bad one, go to a psychiatrist and see how many of my issues I can blame on my piece of shit family.

I guess my goal (or wish) is to understand the widest variety of people by "walking in their shoes" to the greatest extent that I can.

It's one of the disagreements my wife and I have when discussing travel plans, her main goal is to go there, mine is to experience the life of the people who live there. It's kind of dumb because me living in a slum in India isn't even remotely close to growing up in a slum in India but it's better than watching YouTube videos.

Immigrate to Europe in a freighter. The rough plan when I finally arrive is befriend some natives, have a feast, then steal their country.

My burgers were decent today though.
