Posted this in GH, probably should go here:
Have a Dell 8300 from Hot Deals and about to gut it and put in my stuff (dvd drive, cdrw, ram, etc)
It came with a 128meg board in one bank, and one 128meg board in the other.
Bought 2 256meg Kingston boards.
Is it best to put the most ram in the first bank, or better to have them split, or what?
I assume it's not a big deal, but might as well make the most of it.
Hell it may be 4 banks for all I know.
