Any benefit to using Cat 5e?

I am currently running an old Cat5 cable that I've had for at least 6 years. Is there any benefit for home networking to replace it with a Cat5e?

Leave what you have alone. If it was properly installed and certified cat5, chances are it will also meet 5e. If you do have trouble on gigabit links, first try re-terminating with cat5e jacks. If the cable was properly installed and not poor quality to begin with you should not need to re-cable.
