Any benefit of non-serviceable unibody design in laptops/phones/tablets?

It's often done for size and weight reasons. So, you get a thinner and lighter ultrabook that may need to just be replaced instead of serviced.
 
so people like me have to think twice to take it appart to tweak hardware inside it.
 
For the majority of people it doesn't matter. Probably a benefit since the size and weight can be reduced.
