Any basketball fans

Tonight at our varsity basketball game, Matt Barnes (of the Sacramento Kings) came because he graduated from our school. At first I figured I wouldn't get a chance because he was sitting behind me and up in the bleachers, but a friend of mine won this raffle thing so we got to sit on this couch on stage and got free food and stuff. At half time we figured we'd try for hsi autograph cuz we saw him go towards the door, but it turned out he didn't go to the snack bar, he just left.

He came back in the third quarter though so we made this sign that said "Matt B please come here" and got his attention. He waved but he didn't come down. After the game I walked over pretty fast and I apologized for bugging him but told him I really wanted an autograph. He gave it to me (on a five dollar bill, cuz that was all I had) and then I walked away cuz I figured everyone else was gonna bug him too.

As I was walking out of the gym, he was right next to me, and I apologized again and he said it was fine, and then mentioned my sign. It was pretty freaking sick.

Edit: oh and I realized a year or so ago when Starbury was traded to NYC that if I had played HS ball I could have played against him (PSAL baby). I don't it was too hard to make my HS team, too. Oh well!

Future NBA player (of the Washington Huskees) Nate Robinson went to my high school, use to ball with him. He dunked over a 6'5" guy... its on tape... mind you at the time he was 5'6"

Oh and I made a game winning shot from half court to win the last game of the season in sixth grade.

Courtney Sims of UMich...led the Big Ten in blocks last season as a freshman.
