My boss was telling me today that he has a Hall of Fame induction ticket from the late 1930's that his dad gve him. On the back of the ticket he has Nap Lajoie, Tris Speaker and Babe Ruth autographs. He says they are real clear albeit written in pencil.

I know these guy's autographs can sell for a whole lot, but do they command the top dollars even though these sigs are from their retired days? He said he would bring it in next week for me to look at. I guess I could tell him that those guys are dead and their signatures arent worth anything. 🙂

Peace

If those signatures can be deemed authentic, then that ticket is worth a lot of $$$. Those are three amazing signatures to have, and to have them all on one piece is amazing. It doesn't matter when it was signed, relative to their playing days.

The signatures would have to be authenticated for it to be worth a bunch. If all three authenticate and the ticket itself is in good condition, Id estimate about 5k for the piece. I could be way off though.
