Any B&M stores that carry the Samsung Series 9?

Having lugged around my Envy 14 for a while now, I'm looking to move back to a thin & light laptop. Unfortunately while the Macbook Air is still the segment leader, it carries a number of differences that I just can't get used to (Fn + Ctrl being swapped, etc.).

I want to check out the Samsung Series 9 before I buy, but I can't seem to find anywhere locally that's carrying them. Best Buy only has Ship to Store options for anything within 100 miles of me. Micro Center has 6 in stock, but they're two hours away and I'd hate to get there only to find out there isn't a display model. I'm in Connecticut, so I don't have a Frys in my area.

Any suggestions? 🙂

Hi mate, I am demoing the F9 right now, here are my thoughts on it..
Very nice keyboard and backlight (looks awesome), good response from keys.
Solid lid top and base top, BUT plastic underneath and it doesnt feel the strong.
Connectivity is an issue for me, 2 USBs, HDMI, NIC and card reader however they are all 3 per side on a drop down hinged panel. The NIC is a dongle which connect to a propriety slot and I am concerned about durability of the hinge and the slot!
No docking slot underneath, so external monitor HDMI connection is also via dongle adapter.
It is certainly a consumer class unit, looks very sweet, but I wouldnt get one!
Edit - It only has 13x7 resolution too, even with its nice 13.3"LCD
edit#2 - I cant stand the touch pad, it doesnt have the separate buttons for the mouse, so doesnt seems as responsive, you have to really push down....

microsoft store has them

The MS Store here in IL didn't have the samsung trackpad drivers installed, so when I went to check it out I couldn't compare it to the MBA trackpad very well.

OP, if you are willing to deal with the little keyboard differences, know that the MBA is getting refreshed soon. Should be Core i5 (at least) and about the same price as it is now, which is cheaper than the Samsung.

I'd first look and see if there's a utility to swap the keyboard key functions; I'm all but sure somethings is out there for both MacOS and Win.

There definitely is for Windows, not positive about OS X.

Yeah, I gave up on the Apple idea initially due to Ctrl + C / V / A / etc. vs. Command + C / etc. I can't stand making the button placement jump back and forth. 🙁

Open Apple's System Preferences
Open Keyboard
Open Modifier Keys
Change Alt/Option, Control and Command up to your heart's content....
