Any autocad guru's

Kenazo

Lifer
can you drop me a PM?

My questions:

It'll be a rig for Autocad Inventor 10, 2000+ parts

Video card? Quadro FX3400? Is it necessary to spend $1500 for a card? Any more economical suggestions.

CPU: A64x2-4200 or A64-3700?

Ram: is 4 gigs enough?

For the video card, you can softmod a 6800 (Ultra I think) to be a Quadro FX3400 with RivaTuner.
4 gigs of RAM is probably enough, but I'd get two 2GB sticks so you can upgrade if you need to.
For the processor I'd go with the X2.

It's for a business, so no softmoding will happen. 🙂

You're going to create a model with 2000 parts?

Well, it's not me but yes. The company makes canvas buildings and they put every single little screw and everything into the drawing. (For an idea see their webpage www.winklercanvas.com).
