As some of you may know, I run a translation agency.
I am looking for Korean-Americans from Bay Area with engineering background.

If you can:
- speak/read Korean
- speak/read English
- have ever interpreted smth for your grandparents who couldn't understand a cashier at checkout line or couldn't get their Windows desktop to boot
- understand engineering concepts (i.e. read a manual, and understand what it deals with).

You don't _have_ to be an engineer. If you are in college, tech. major - that's good.

then:
- I have a gig for you: 20-40 hrs/week for a month. Pay is quite good.

Please PM me for details.

Translating technical terms is the biggest PITA next to contracts.

You got any regular book/video game translations jobs?

It's not a translating job. It will be on-site interpreting. However, the nature of the job requires an engineer with a knowledge of Korean language, than an interpreter with a background in engineering.
