So I had a rather interesting weekend. Went to Charlotte to go see Lifehouse and then clubbin' with two of my chicas Thursday, went to Charlotte's 4th of July bash on Friday and saw Sister Hazel. Then rode down to Atlanta with some buds on Saturday morning to see two Braves games (one Saturday night, one Sunday afternoon)...
but here's the thing. Saturday night, we left the stadium looking for some "night activities" to do. So we go cruising around downtown Atlanta only to find mostly homeless people sleeping on steps and peddling for money. A friend had told us to check out the "Underground," but that place was dead as hell at 1:00 and looked rather shady anyway.
So we got on Peachtree Ave...BIG mistake. Ended up being caught on the "strip" for almost two hours and only went about 5 miles or so. So that pretty much ended our night. We still had lots of fun though yelling at the ladies as we rolled down the strip. And I myself cracked up as these four white boys in the car with me tried everything to act cool around the mostly black crowd cruising on Peachtree...including looping Tupac's "I ain't mad at ya" about 20 times in a loop I still can't stop laughing over my short, greek best friend yelling "Back that ass up" to a fine sista in the car beside us. She just gave him a look that had "Death to you" written all over it
