I used to use At Guard about 2 years ago. I decided to install it again. I rebooted a while ago and forgot that I had installed at guard a few days ago. I looked at the tasklist and see something called "IAMSERV.EXE" I immediately check out google. It comes up as BugBear virus. I then start to get pissed because I have kept norton updated all the time and don't use MS products for email.

I finally figure out that "iamserv.exe" is the executable for At Guard? Is this correct? I am just a little bit paranoid. Norton still doesn't find any virii after a scan but I don't like the idea that "iamserv.exe" is associated with a virus.

The other posters are correct, that is definately part of AtGuard. Fyi, if you choose to ever upgrade, AtGuard was licensed by us (Symantec) and was incorporating into the Norton Internet Security line.
