i'm trying to figure out what the following means....it's a legal document from a bank that's supposed to verify a customer's history. the final sentence reads:

Se extiende la presenta, a los fines que hubiere lugar, an la ciudad de villa maria a los diecisiete dias del mes de septiembre de 2004.

that bit that gets me is "a los fines que hubiere lugar". what the heck does this mean???
