im done with my first semester of comp sci, and all i can say is that it was hell.... failed cs 307 and got a C in calc m408d.... i am not good at programming and i hate math.....

i am thinking of switching to architecture... i was always good at design and art and i have alot technical skills.... ie... computers, photoshop, cad, etc... i love art but i want a more "stable" career path than art in general....

i just want to know what kinda stuff u guys do? how is a normal day?....what do u like and hate about this job/major??? please help me out guys.. i just want to find the right major for me

first year in UT Comp Sci eh? ;)

If yes, I am in your same boat. CS307 scared the living <censored> out of me, but i did manage to pull an A in M408C, but i heard CS408D is harder.

From what i heard, unless you're in a well recognized architectural program i.e. Yale, Rice, etc., you will be having a hard time finding a decent job once you graduate.

But that is just what i heard. Good Luck to you!
