Any applications that can create and edit devices in a virtual network lab?

I'm sure something like this exists. I'm looking for a program that can help me create like a virtual testing lab for educational purposes for someone with a bit of networking experience. I want to be able to design a LAN/WAN and have the ability to edit various parameters of various networking devices in the virtual reality and then have the program show me erronous spots etc. Does anything remotely like this exist?

yes, there are modelers out there. extremely expensive.
