I've got a Windows 7 box I want to run as an iTunes server but I cannot for the life of me get my Macbook to be able to write to it. I have went into advanced sharing and enabled full control for "everyone" but I still do not have the ability to paste to it from my macbook. I don't know if it's a setting in W7 I'm missing or something in OS X but I'm at a complete loss.
 
Try to enable the Guest accounts on both computers, and give the Guest access rights.
