I played it when it first came out... Before any additions or upgrades but then I just sort of lost interest.

I don't play games for very long. Longest would be Urban Terror I played for quite a long while. I'm tryin to get back into Tribes 2 now, but it's so hard to be a newbie again.

The games lasted way too long on some maps if you died early on. Especially I remember a bridge map where you had to make it across as one side and prevent it as the other. I died early and just got to watch FOREVER one guy lie prone and shoot at nothing while the other team camped and waited. UGH.

Bad ass game though from what it was.

How are the add-ons? Like sniper school and whatever the others are...

The newest version is a calm collective great game.Not like a arcade shooter such as sof2 or a no team work rambo crappy graphics cs.all the addins are sweet.I've passed all the schools such as ranger and what not but that bridge level is a joke.The concepts horrible and it takes to long to play because everyone sits in one place which is the point.

I am hooked on the game. I usually play it on the weekends after the kids have gone to sleep.

Mountain pass is as slow as the bridge map, but still entertaining. Lately I have been playing the Weapons Cache map.

I made it through sniper school, but since I am mainly in the Weapons Cache map, I do not get a chance to use the M24. However, the M4 is standard for that map and the scope on it when in zoom view is pretty sweet.
